A Southern symbol of strength, an oak tree has a massive spread with reclining branches that create a canopy of speckled light. Height of a full grown oak is 80′-125′ with 2”-5” elliptical leaves. The bark is dark brown to reddish brown and has a thick furrowed texture. It is an excellent shade tree and will thrive in Zones 3-10 (Continental USA).
