Digital Memorial Plaques

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Now a digital life can continue after your death with the invention and launch of The Digital Memorial Plaque. The plaque is attached to a headstone or memorial stone and contains unique codes telling the viewer, via a smart phone or tablet, your life story.

Digital Memorial has launched a range of designs and sizes of their Digital Memorial Plaque. The tombstone plaque is personalized containing the loved ones name, a unique web address, an sms short code and a QR code, all linking the plaque and it’s special location to a specific online location.
The codes destination is often an online memorial site telling the life story of the loved ones or a YouTube video showing in words and music how special he/she was.
Richard Longworth owner of Digital Memorial commented ‘the product came about from an eureka moment when standing by my brothers headstone. I thought about the fact that very few people will get to know his life story and what made him special. Then I thought of ways to solve that problem, hence The Digital Memorial Plaque was created.’
The plaques are designed to be used in all weather being made of bonded acrylic and estimated to last at least 100 years. They are simply bonded or fastened to the surface of a headstone or memorial stone to a bench or urn, indeed to anywhere that’s a special place. Presented in a gold embossed condolence box the plaque makes an ideal sympathy gift.
Family, friend’s colleagues or just the curious, can access and share a life story way into the future, creating digital media immortality, once only the preserve of the rich, famous or infamous.
Digital-memorial-plaque.com was founded in 2011 to help those grieving the loss of a loved one through bereavement. The company offers a range of products and services connecting a special place such as headstone or memorial stone to a loved one’s online life story.
